The age of YouTube has enabled many creatives to share their passions, stories and unique experiences but while the barrier to entry is lower than ever to upload material, when faced with the technicalities of recording the content one often has to become a filmmaker first, and a creative second. How might we bring approachable, high quality video capturing tools to creatives?

Traditional cameras are designed for standing behind the camera when recording

But makes recording yourself very difficult

The way to counter this situation is to have a camera with a swivel screen or an external monitor, the difficulties of being able to reach or control the camera remains.

And recording your hands even harder

Recording your hands performing creative tasks often requires you to have an elevated point of view where the camera can be out of reach and the image might even be displayed upside down

Today's camera setup requires many parts

The camera industry today revolves around a modular architecture to a large extent, which opens up a wide range of flexibility, with the cost of usability. In order to perform a talking head type of shot or top view shot of hands with motion, around 6 parts are normally required.
